Assessments are one of the most important decisions an organisation makes — yet most of them are created manually, marked inconsistently, and used only for hiring.

We built Elora IQ to change that. The idea started from a simple frustration: building a proper technical assessment from scratch takes hours, marking descriptive answers is subjective, and nobody has a good system for running the same quality of assessment internally as they do for hiring.

With the arrival of powerful AI models, we saw an opportunity to change all of that. Elora IQ uses AI to generate tailored assessments in minutes, mark every type of answer with consistency and accuracy, and deliver results instantly — while keeping candidates honest with live proctoring and integrity monitoring.

But we designed it to go beyond hiring. A great engineer deserves to be promoted on the basis of a fair skills assessment, not just a manager's opinion. A compliance team should be able to certify 200 employees with the same rigour as hiring 2. Elora IQ is built for all of it.

Who's building Elora IQ

Elora IQ is an early-stage product being built by a small, focused team passionate about making intelligent assessments accessible to every organisation — not just the ones with HR departments large enough to build them manually.

We come from backgrounds in product, engineering, and people operations — which means we've sat on both sides of the assessment table. We've spent hours building tests from scratch, marked hundreds of answers by hand, and made hiring and promotion decisions with far less information than we should have had.

That experience shapes everything we build. Every feature in Elora IQ exists because we felt the pain of not having it. The conversational creator exists because writing questions from scratch is slow and inconsistent. The integrity scoring exists because we've seen how hard it is to trust results without visibility into how candidates behaved.

We're building Elora IQ in public — shaped by early users, improved with every assessment run through it, and committed to staying genuinely useful rather than just impressive.
